Overview
The DSSSB PGT Maths e-dossier window will open on August 6, 2026, for candidates provisionally shortlisted under post code 825/24. The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board published the Tier-I marks notice on July 31 and gave shortlisted candidates until August 20 to upload their records through the Online Application Registration System, or OARS.
This is not a final selection result. DSSSB has uploaded the marks of 2,735 candidates who appeared in the April 12 and 13 examination, but only candidates covered by the provisional shortlisting table should proceed with the dossier. Those candidates must also exercise at least one available post preference during the same window.
DSSSB PGT Maths e-dossier runs from August 6 to 20
The official DSSSB Notice No. 357 sets a two-week online window: August 6 through August 20, 2026. The upload must be made in the candidate's OARS account. Waiting until the final evening creates avoidable risk because certificates may need rescanning, file sizes may need adjustment and a preference must be saved along with the dossier.
Candidates should first open the marks notice and confirm that their roll number and category position place them in the provisional dossier group. A visible score in OARS does not by itself mean that every one of the 2,735 test-takers has advanced. DSSSB has published category-wise cut-offs and shortlist figures for the next scrutiny stage.
The notice relates to 31 PGT Mathematics vacancies advertised under post code 825/24: 21 male and 10 female posts. These numbers explain the recruitment context, but they do not turn provisional shortlisting into an appointment. Eligibility and documents still have to be checked.
Post preference is mandatory and cannot be treated casually
A shortlisted candidate must exercise at least one post preference in OARS. DSSSB says the submitted preferences will be final and irreversible. A candidate who does not give any preference will not be considered for allocation, even if the marks and certificates would otherwise support the claim.
Before saving, candidates should read the department and post choices displayed in their own account and order only the options they are genuinely willing to accept. The safest approach is to review the list on a larger screen, write down the intended order, then compare the saved submission with that order before the window closes.
This is different from merely uploading a degree file. Preference determines the posts for which the candidate asks to be considered, while document scrutiny determines whether the candidate supports the eligibility claimed in the application. Both actions belong to the same deadline.
The DSSSB OARS e-dossier needs complete supporting records
The notice directs shortlisted candidates to upload educational and professional certificates, degree records and mark sheets relevant to the post. Category certificates, experience records, government-service documents and ex-servicemen proof must also be supplied where the candidate has relied on those claims. Candidates should retain both admission certificates from the examination when the notice makes them applicable to the record set.
Start with the original application and the PGT recruitment advertisement. Match the name, date of birth, qualification, subject, category and any relaxation claim against the files being uploaded. A clear scan of the wrong certificate is still the wrong evidence.
Use descriptive local filenames before uploading, such as the qualification and year, so that similarly shaped PDFs do not get confused. Open every completed upload from the portal if that facility is available, and save the final acknowledgement or screenshot without exposing it publicly. The purpose is to prove what was submitted within the official window.
Missing the window can end the candidature
DSSSB states that failure to upload the e-dossier during August 6-20 will lead to rejection and that no further normal opportunity will be given. Candidates should not plan around an assumed extension or wait for an individual reminder. The published notice itself is the call to act.
A genuine OARS technical problem has a narrow reporting route. The notice asks an affected candidate to contact the DSSSB helpdesk within 48 hours after the dossier window closes and attach a screenshot showing the problem. DSSSB says a substantiated case may receive three additional days to upload. That exception is for a demonstrable technical glitch, not for forgetting the deadline or discovering a missing certificate late.
Record the date and time of any failed attempt, the page involved and the error visible on screen. Do not include passwords, identity numbers or other sensitive details in a public post or an informal message. Use only the helpdesk route specified by DSSSB.
What the marks notice does and does not decide
The July 31 notice moves the recruitment from examination marks to document and preference scrutiny. It does not announce a final merit list, department allocation or appointment. DSSSB can still examine whether the qualification, category, age and other claims satisfy Advertisement No. 10/2024.
Candidates should therefore avoid reading a provisional shortlist as a guarantee. The useful next action is administrative: assemble the exact records, check the preference order and complete the online dossier while correction time remains. For comparison with another post-result scrutiny route, Pagalishor's UP Police SI result guide explains how a written-stage result can lead to separate physical and document checks. That article does not change any DSSSB requirement.
Candidates awaiting a different recruitment stage can also read the UP TGT admit-card update for an exam-entry checklist. For post code 825/24, however, the DSSSB notice and the candidate's OARS account remain controlling.
Complete the dossier in a deliberate order
Step 1: Open Notice No. 357 and verify the post code, shortlist table and August 6-20 window.
Step 2: Sign in to the official DSSSB OARS account without using a third-party login page.
Step 3: Compare the original application with the qualification, category and service records to be uploaded.
Step 4: Scan each required document clearly and check that every page is present and readable.
Step 5: Review the available posts and submit at least one preference in the intended final order.
Step 6: Reopen the uploaded files or status screen, then save proof of successful completion.
Step 7: If a genuine portal fault prevents submission, preserve a safe screenshot and follow the official 48-hour helpdesk rule.
