Age is counted as on June 1, 2026

BEL uses June 1, 2026 as the crucial date for age and qualification. Both EAT and Technician C list 18 years as the minimum age and 28 years as the upper age limit for the unreserved or EWS reference category.

One distinctive requirement in this BEL Panchkula recruitment is Haryana Employment Exchange registration. The advertisement says registration in Haryana Employment Exchange is mandatory for candidates applying for Engineering Assistant Trainee and Technician C posts.

The employment-exchange registration should be valid and active as on July 2, 2026. The notice says expired or inactive registration cards will not be considered.

That requirement can change the practical timeline. A candidate may meet the diploma or ITI rule but still be unable to complete a defensible application if the Haryana Employment Exchange registration is missing, expired or inactive.
